This information applies to consumers when a statutory right of withdrawal applies to the purchase agreement.
Withdraw from the agreement
This electronic function allows you to send a declaration of withdrawal directly to the seller listed with the koi. After sending, you will immediately receive a confirmation by email with the content, date and time of your statement.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the purchase agreement within fourteen days without giving a reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party designated by you who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the koi.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, you must inform the seller listed with the koi of your decision with an unequivocal statement. You can use the electronic function on this page, a letter, an e-mail or the model form below.
To comply with the deadline, it is sufficient that you send your communication regarding the exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
Effects of withdrawal
Following a valid withdrawal, the seller will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of the cheapest standard delivery offered by the seller. Reimbursement will be made without undue delay and no later than fourteen days after the seller receives your notice. The seller may withhold reimbursement until the koi has been returned or you have provided evidence of its return, whichever occurs first.
The seller bears the direct costs of returning. Due to the living nature and animal welfare, any return must be coordinated with the seller in advance and take place in a professional, animal-friendly manner.
You are only liable for any depreciation resulting from treatment that goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and health condition of the koi.
Where should you send your withdrawal notice?
Send the withdrawal notice only to the seller stated on the koi detail page and in your purchase confirmation.
