How does it work?

Discover our current auctions and view all available information per koi. Photos, videos, breeder, variety, size, age and other information will help you make a good choice.

To be able to bid, you need a personal account. Registering is easy and gives you access to all the features of our auctions. After registration you can manage your details and participate in the auctions.

Once you have found a koi you want to bid on, first take a look at all available information. Each koi has its own auction page with the most important information. Determine in advance the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the koi. This way you bid consciously and carefully.

You can place a bid in three ways:

   Bid the displayed amount

   You bid the amount indicated as the next bid.

2. 2

   Multiple bid increments at once

   You can choose to place 2, 3, 4 or more bid increments at once, increasing your bid in a single action.

3. 3

   Enter an amount yourself

   You can also enter the amount you wish to bid. The system automatically checks whether it is a valid bid.

Automatic bidding

No time to constantly follow the auction, but would you still like to bid on a koi? Then you can use automatic bidding. You simply set the maximum amount you want to pay for the koi. From that moment on, the system follows the auction for you.

When someone else places a higher bid, the system automatically increases your bid, according to the applicable bidding steps. So you do not immediately pay your full maximum amount. Your bid will only increase when necessary.

Your set maximum amount is only visible to you and will not be shown to other participants. As long as your maximum bid is the highest, you remain the highest bidder. If your maximum bid is exceeded by another participant, you will receive the message: “Someone has placed an automatic bid.” You can then decide for yourself whether you want to bid again.

On the auction page you can view the current bids and the remaining time. You can bid on multiple koi and continue to monitor your bids during the auction. Pay close attention to the end time. An auction closes automatically once the specified end time has been reached.

If you are the highest bidder when the auction closes, you have won the koi. You will then receive confirmation with the details of the koi and further information about payment and delivery or collection.

After winning a koi, you will receive the necessary payment information. Once payment has been received, the next steps will be agreed with you. The koi must be collected from the stated location unless another arrangement has been agreed in advance.
